RoHS Compliance

The European Union Directive for the restriction on the use of certain hazardous substances calls for products that do contain any of the following banned substances in quantities exceeding specified limits.

• Substances limited to 0.10% of component weight or ≤ 1,000 ppm
• Lead
• Mercury
• Hexavalent Chromium
• Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs)
• Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs)
• Substances limited to 0.01% of component weight or ≤ 100 ppm
• Cadmium

For our PoweredEthernet PoE products Infomart uses only qualified components and processes from various manufacturers that meet the RoHS directive 2005/95/EC.

All our PoweredEthernet products meet the RoHS directive. Both products and their datasheets are marked with the RoHS logo and we mark each compliant batch with an internationally recognized label in a prominent position for easy identification.

Furthermore we confirm our intention to transact business with only those suppliers who can demonstrate their ability to manufacture our products and components or supply input materials in a socially and environmentally responsible manner compliant to the RoHS directive.

Infomart will monitor ongoing RoHS legislation and ensure compliance to the standards in force as prevailing.
