The PEM1200 series of PoE modules are designed to extract power from Cat5 and better Ethernet cable, conforming to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard. The PEM1200 series is identical to the PEM1300 series, except the PEM1200 series do not have on-board bridge rectifier diodes.
The PEM1200 provides 1500Vdc isolation between input and output. It features adjustable output voltage and programmable IEEE 802.3af power classification enabling users to design their products for the growing "green power" movement.
The PEM1200 is a full featured yet cost effective solution useful in general purpose segments including the IP network camera, VoIP phone, access control, RFID, wireless access points, and office/building automation segments

PEM1400 Series PoE Module
With size of 35mm x 14mm, and a footprint of 409 mm², the PEM1400 is the world’s smallest IEEE802.3af compliant Power Over Ethernet (PoE) PD extraction module
The module delivers up to 12.95 watts of power when sourced from an IEEE 802.3af compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) using CAT5 or higher Ethernet cable. The module can deliver a full load start-up at input voltages as low as 36 volts.
The ultra-low cost PEM1400 is available in 12V, 5V, and 3.3V variants. It features a high efficiency DC-DC converter, frequency dithering to reduce EMI and noise, an on-board output “pi” filter for low ripple output and in-built overload and output short-circuit protection.
The PEM1400 series provides a quick, easy, and low cost method for Ethernet equipment manufacturers to “PoE enable” their equipment.

The PEM1500 series of PoE modules are completely integrated requiring no external components and designed to extract power from Cat5 and better Ethernet cable, conforming to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard.
The PEM1500 features programmable IEEE 802.3af power classification, which enables system architects users to design their products for the growing "green power" movement. The PEM1500 is the only module in its price segment to feature continuous short circuit protection.
The module provides 1500Vdc isolation between input and output.
The PEM1500 is a full featured yet cost effective solution useful in general purpose segments including the IP network camera, VoIP phone, access control, RFID, wireless access points, and office/building automation segments.
PEM1500A-42 is the standard model and PEM1500C-42 is featured with built in remote shut down; both are with dimensions of 42mm x 42mm x 16mm.
PEM1500-LP is the low profile model with just 7.5mm height above the PCB, and with an overall dimensions of 42mm x 42mm x 11mm.
The connectors, pin out configurations and the mounting holes are similar across all models within PEM1500 series.

PEM1600 Series PoE Module
The PEM1600 series of PoE PD modules are designed to extract power from Cat5 and better Ethernet cable, conforming to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard. With its high efficiency DC-DC converter, PEM1600 provides a well-regulated, low noise and low ripple, output with the in-built overload and output short-circuit protection, and on board input ESD protection. It provides a quick, easy, and low cost method for Ethernet equipment manufacturers to “PoE enable” their equipment.
PEM1600 are featured with built-in frequency dithering.
PEM1600 is available with variants having on board diode bridge rectifiers (PEM1600R) and variants without the diode bridge rectifier (PEM1600N). These are available in 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 19V and 24V output models, and all models deliver the full IEEE 802.3af specified 12.95W of power.

PEM3000 series provide up to 30 watt max power output.
The PEM3000 modules provide full two event PoE+ and single event POE signature for layer 1 classification and supports layer 2 classification via an “AT Detect” pin.
The PEM3000 are high efficient modules, featured with over load and continuous short circuit protections, and provides 1500Vdc isolation between input and output. The PEM3000 supports external aux. power.
The PEM3000 series is a full featured yet cost effective solution useful in general purpose and high power segments including the IP network camera, PTZ cameras, WiMAX®tower and access points, Wireless access points, RFID readers, POS terminals, thin client terminals, and IP telephones and office/building automation segments.

The PEM3200 is globally one of the smallest size, full power IEEE802.3at and IEEE802.3af compliant Power Over Ethernet (PoE) Powered Device (PD) extraction module delivering up to 30 watts peak power, when sourced from a competent power IEEE 802.3at Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), using twisted pair CAT5 or higher Ethernet cable. It offers fixed POE Class 4 and provides Two Event Physical Layer (Layer 1) classification, as per IEEE802.3at and supports layer 2 classification via an “AT Detect” pin. The module also supports Type 1 and Type 2 PD operation of the IEEE 802.3bt.
The PEM3200 output ripple is controlled within IEEE specifications. For improved EMI performance, the PEM3200 is featured with in-built frequency dithering and a dedicated pin for adjusting the switching frequency for additional tuning for targeted EMI filtration. PEM3200 supports external Auxiliary DC power, and enables Remote Shut Down to keep POE supply on standby mode.
The PEM3200 is a low cost solution with a high efficiency DC-DC converter with 1500V safety isolation, in-built under-voltage, over-voltage, output over-load and short-circuit protection. The PEM3200 series require minimal external components and provide a quick, easy, and cost effective method for Ethernet equipment manufacturers to “PoE enable” their equipment.
