PEM1900 series

With size of 22mm x 14mm, and a footprint of 308 mm², the PEM1900 is the Miniature size SMD IEEE802.3af compliant Power Over Ethernet (PoE) PD extraction module

The module delivers up to 12.95 watts of power when sourced from an IEEE 802.3af compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) using CAT5e or higher Ethernet cable. The module can deliver a full load start-up at input voltages as low as 36 volts.

The ultra-low cost PEM1900 is available in 12V, and 5V variants. It features a high efficiency DC-DC converter, frequency dithering to reduce EMI and noise, an on-board output “pi” filter for low ripple output and in-built overload and output short-circuit protection.

The PEM1900 series provides a quick, easy, and low cost method for Ethernet equipment manufacturers to “PoE enable” their equipment.
